On October 21st. at 9:09 p.m., a young male came to a residence and broke the window out of the front door. The male suspect was with another male that ran away with the suspect after he broke window. It was recorded by security footage and screenshots were taken from the footage (see photos below)

Hit and Run Motor Vehicle Collision - Belfast

Kings District RCMP are requesting the public's assistance with any information regarding a hit and run motor vehicle collision.

At approximately 4:05 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 the driver of a small black car (possibly a circa 2010 Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla) struck a parked car and failed to remain at the scene of the collision which occurred near the intersection of the Trans Canada Highway (TCH) and Garfield Road in Belfast PEI.

The suspect black vehicle was travelling east on the TCH and then turned left at the intersection prior to striking the parked car on it's drivers side. The suspect black car likely sustained significant damage on the passenger side.

Illegal Trapping - East Royalty, PEI

Armed Robbery - Hunter River, PEI

The Queens District RCMP is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a business in Hunter River, PEI, and is hoping information from the public can help identify the individual responsible.

On December 12, 2021, at approximately 5:30 a.m., a man armed with a knife entered the Irving Oil gas station located on Route 2 and demanded money from an employee. The man left with an undisclosed amount of money and nobody was injured during the incident.

The RCMP released video surveillance images of the suspect and is hoping despite the quality of the image, information from the public may help identify him or provide additional information to help the investigation. The individual is described as a male, approximately five feet 10 inches (178 centimetres) tall with a slim build. At the time, he was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweater.

Damage to Vehicles - Freetown, PEI

East Prince District RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) responsible for the following damage to vehicles in the Freetown area.

During the early morning hours of August 19, 2022 an unknown person(s) damaged two vehicles parked at the sand blasting company located on route 8 in Freetown PEI.

Damage occurred to a 2014 Freight Softline C2 school bus's stop sign and the front head light. Also damaged was the side mirror of a 2009 white International Prostar LF627 truck which was pulled off.

Also on Route 8 near the business, a sign belonging to a farm was pulled off its posts and a mail box was uprooted.

Vandalism - Stratford, PEI

The Queen's District Stratford RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible for the following vandalism.

On July 14th, 2022, Queens District Stratford RCMP received a report of graffiti promoting anarchy on Beacon Hill Dr in Stratford. During the course of the investigation, graffiti was also found on Clearview Drive in Stratford, this time on a town sign.

RCMP officers believe the graffiti were painted, using red spray paint, sometime between Wednesday, July 13th and the morning of Thursday, July 14th.

The investigation is ongoing.

Damage to Front End Loader - Souris, PEI

Kings District RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) responsible for the following damage to machinery in the Souris area.

On July 5th, 2022 a report was received by the Souris RCMP of extensive damage to a front end loader parked at the gravel pit area between the Confederation Trail and the Souris Line Road. The damage was caused by several large rocks being thrown into the windows of the machine. The area is visible from the Confederation Trail and perhaps someone witnessed or heard something in the area.

Assault - Sally's Beach Provincial Park, Souris, PE

Kings County RCMP are looking for anyone who may have any information about an older model, black truck with rust, in the area of Sally's Beach Provincial Park on June 10, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.

Kings County RCMP responded to a call of an assault at the entrance to Sally's Beach Provincial Park in which a lone employee had a bucket of vomit thrown on her by an unknown male who was driving a black truck.

The male is described as being Caucasian, in his 40's, with a moustache and scruffy black facial hair.

No further details about the male or the vehicle are known at this time.

Damage to Property - Brudenell, PEI

Damage to Gas Pump - Mount Stewart, PEI

The Queens District RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual responsible for damage to the gas pump at the Scotchfort Gas Bar, Mount Stewart, PEI.

On October 18th, 2021 at approximately 10:00 p.m., an unknown male attempted to get gas at the Scotchfort Gas Bar, which was closed. The male put the gas nozzle into his vehicle and then became frustrated once he realized the gas bar was closed. The male left with the gas hose still in his vehicle. Once he realized what he had done he came back and put the nozzle back in the gas pump. There was damage done to the gas pump and Queens District RCMP are requesting the assistance in identifying the unknown male.

Damage to Fishing Gear - Launching, PEI

The Kings District RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) responsible for damage to fishing gear in Launching, PEI.

On June 21, 2021, Kings District RCMP received a report of several buoys being cut from lobster traps along a trap line near the wharf in Launching. One of the buoys was removed from the water and painted with a profanity referencing the owner's ethnic background.
The RCMP is taking this incident very seriously, and is being investigated thoroughly, including whether it was racially motivated.

Vandalism of Signs - Kings County, PEI

Kings District RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) responsible for the following vandalism.

Sometime overnight on Thursday September 9th. 2021 two of Lawrence MacAuley's election signs were vandalised. Written on the signs using black spray paint was offensive, racist language and diagrams.

Police are looking for any information regarding the destruction of these signs and the person(s) responsible. One of the signs was located at the intersection of Route 4 and Route 2 in Dingwells Mills (Picture attached), while the other one was located on Route 16 near the turn to Naufrage Harbour.

Hit and Run Accident - Tignish, PEI

On the night of Friday, January 31st, 2020, between 10:00 - 10:30 pm a 21 year old women pulled her car to the side of the road on Route 10 in Central Bedeque. As the women was dealing with a mechanical issue a second vehicle stopped and a male offered assistance then turned on the women assaulting her and trying to rob her. The man was scared off by a passing vehicle and the women was able to call for help.
