Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle / West Prince PEI

Prince District RCMP are investigating an incident of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Flight from Police that occurred on Hwy #2 near Portage on the 26th of June, during the morning commute to school. A black Acura TL with a chrome grill was east bound on Hwy #2 and passed several vehicles at a high rate of speed. It used the left turn lane to Rt #12 to pass a line of traffic, including three school buses, in it's haste to escape from an RCMP vehicle attempting to stop the vehicle.

Robbery Econo Lodge & Esso Summerside PE

The Summerside Police Service is looking for the public?EUR(TM)s assistance in two robberies that occurred early Saturday morning.
The first occurred shortly after 2 a.m. at the Econo Lodge. A male suspect entered the motel and demanded the clerk give him the money from the cash register. The suspect left with a small amount of cash and no one was injured.
The second occurred shortly after 3 a.m. at the Reads Corner Esso. The same male entered and again demanded the clerk give him the money from the register. The suspect left with a small amount of cash and no one was injured.
Shortly after 4 a.m. the RCMP responded to a call at the Hunter River Irving in which it is believed the same person robbed the Irving.

Stolen Veh Collision/Fire Loane Road in Valleyfield

At shortly after 4 AM on Friday the 22nd of June, Kings District responded to a report of a vehicle on file on the Loane Road. The vehicle was off the road with damage and there was some evidence that someone had been there with another vehicle trying to tow the veh back onto the road. There was no sign of the operator or any passengers on the arrival of the RCMP and Fire Company. Investigation has revealed the veh was stolen, likely the evening before from the Brudenell Point Road Fertilizer Plant parking lot. Property Damage to MV

Kings District RCMP were called to Murray Harbour North on June 2nd responding to a report of a vehicle being damaged. The veh was from Quebec and it's occupants were camping in a nearby wooded area. The front and back windshields were destroyed and the car was dented. The campers didn't see who damaged their car, but did note a 4 wheeler in the area with two males on same, but no description obtained. Shortly after receiving this call Kings District received another call about a camouflaged 4 wheeler snooping around a property, but were run off by local fisherman. It is suspected the two incidents were related. Property Damage over $5,000.00

Queens District RCMP is investigating an incident of extensive damage to an unoccupied home on the Sheepskin Rd in Riverdale, PEI. All the windows in the home were smashed, and almost every room in the house was damaged in some way. The damage estimate is in the tens of thousands of dollars. It is believed that the damage occurred sometime between the end of June and the 13th of September, 2017.

Queens District RCMP are investigating a hit and run motor vehicle collision that occurred shortly after 6 a.m., Monday, July 3rd,2017 at the intersection of Route 1 and Meadowbank Road, Cornwall. The suspect vehicle was travelling east on Route 1 and ran a red light striking the other vehicle.

What it is when it defaces priviate or public property without permission is a crime...period. This "art" results in thousands of dollars in damage to other peoples property. Recently a graffiti "artist" using the tag "Tekoe" has damaged a number of properties in the Summerside and Charlotttetown area. Police are seeking assistance from the public to identify and charge the individual or persons resposible for this damage.
