Theft of Copper Wire, Hunter River, PEI

Sometime between November 17, 2022 and November 20, 2022 a work trailer located at the Maritime Electric substation on Rennies Road in Hunter River was broken into and wheels of copper wire were stolen. The approximately value of the wire is $1200.

Break, Enter and Thefts - Augustine Cove, PEI

Prince District RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance identifying the 2 individuals responsible for break, enter and thefts that occurred in cottages and sheds in the Augustine Cove area in the Gordons Way cottage neighborhood.

On December 13th, 2022 between the hours of 12:50 a.m. and 2:10 a.m., 2 individuals broke into a shed on Gordons Way and stole a Milwaukee Pole saw. Upon further investigation, RCMP discovered that there were more break and enters into cottages and sheds in the Gordons Way cottage area.

There are no full time cottage owners in the neighborhood and the potential for any possible witnesses extremely limited. But, the potential for someone to identify body shape, clothing, shoes on this provided stills are possible. Because most owners do not live in the area, we have not gathered a detailed list of stolen items.

Attached please find still images taken from a security camera.

Police are asking anyone who may have information about the incident, or who lives in the area and may have witnessed suspicious activity during the morning of December 13, to contact the Prince District RCMP at 902-436-9300. Break Enter and Theft - North Milton, PEI

Queens District RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) responsible for the following break, enter and theft.

A garage located on Route 7 in North Milton, PEI was broken into sometime between 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16 and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Access was gained by kicking in the door of the garage. A chainsaw and a red 10-liter container of gas was taken.

The chainsaw is an Echo Model S310, orange in color, serial number C67915117042.

The attached picture is not the actual stolen chainsaw but it is the same make and model.

Attempted Break and Enter - St. Roch PEI

Prince District RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance following an attempted break and enter at a residence in St. Roch, PEI.

On August 31, 2022 at approximately 9:30 p.m., members of the Prince District RCMP responded to a report of an attempted break and enter at a residence in St. Roch. The incident occurred when a number of individuals attempted to gain entry to a home that was occupied by two residents at the time, and were unsuccessful. The suspects discharged a firearm at the residence, and then fled the scene.

Attempted Break and Enter - Tryon, PEI

East Prince District RCMP are seeking the assistance from the public in the following attempted break and enter investigation.

The East Prince District RCMP are investigating an attempted break and enter into a residence located on Route 1 in Tryon, PEI on Wednesday, November 24th. 2021 at approximately 11:00 p.m. The elderly homeowner was in the residence at the time, and the suspect departed the scene when they realized the owner was in the home. There was damage to a doorframe and window of the residence.

Kings District RCMP are investigating a Break and Enter into a property located on Route 17 in Gaspereaux, PEI that occurred sometime between September 16th. and September 24th. 2020. The person(s) responsible stole a generator and a trail camera from an outbuilding on the property.

The generator is a King KCG – 1000, red in colour.
The make or model of the trail camera is unknown but is camo coloured.

Numerous items were stolen; including the following – two antique clocks, a bayonet, an antique oil lamp, a pink antique decorative mug, a brass piper figurine and a Seal Stamp (possibly “Glenaladale Fox Farm”)
